Those of you who know me know that i am always looking for co-incidences becuase they are my way of confirming i am not alone in this life.
I want to tell you a story from a client i treated last week that bring home my search for these so called synchronicites.
A lady i have treated for a while told me of her sister and how close there relationship was and how they had even shared the same house all of there lives and had never married but had lived a full life.
She said when her sister died, she was so full of grief so much so she could no longer live alone in the house they had shared and moved into another one.Her sister remained on her mind daily and grief was not something she could pass through easily.
One day i came back from a day out she said,it seemed even on the days i tried to distract myself i carried the grief, as i opened up the garage door to put my car in,i noticed on the floor a liitle statue of jesus carrying a lantern.
she showed me the little statue she found about 2 inches high, the thing is she said when me and my sister were young, my mother used to tell us a story about Jesus and the light of the world ,it was her favourite story, and the statue was the significant image i always held.
She said"I honestly don't know where this little statue came from,i know it wasn't there when i left and could not have blown under the garage door, whet i do know was it was so significant to me and gave me comfort. To anyone else it would not have meant much but to me,it meant the world and from that place i began to let go of the grief in a different way.
I love these stories, and will to share with you amongst other thoughts these simple honest stories with the hope that they make you smile in some way.
You know medicine comes in so many ways dosen't it ? if you could bottle that comfort this particular incident had on this lady, prescriptions would look like this "Love is the only true healing balm"
